My Role: Creative direction, feedback, and QA of work by a junior designer/themer. Management from inception through completion and approval by senior leadership.

New Web Development and Design Service at Stanford

My Role: Leading a number of core teammates and clients to develop a new web design service for Stanford campus suited for small departments, programs, centers, and institutes. The initial workshop included developing user personas, identifying our clients greatest challenges, our greatest risks, questions that get to the core of those issues, and then mapping potential processes. Work is still underway.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars: Stanford University

My Role: Full site design and build working directly with the Associate Vice President of Communications at Stanford, the Senior Director for Strategic Communications, the Senior Director for Web Communications, and the Office of Development. The effort included creating wireframes, Drupal site building, CSS development, selection of imagery and content strategy. Minimal support from one web developer.

Shared Culture and Values Workshop: Stanford Web Services and School of Humanities and Sciences

My Role: Developing two workshops lasting an hour and a half each to help two campus teams develop a shared sense of purpose and core values at the start of a year-long collaboration. 

Cardinal at Work: Stanford University

My Role: Consulting during discovery phase. Project management and UX design during design and development phases. Project scope included migrating 10+ HR websites into a single, uniform megasite.

King Institute Server Migration: Stanford University

My Role: Coordinated major server migration, including retiring and migrating many interlocked websites living at the same non-semantic domain that received 250,000+ visits/month. Research database was migrated to new server and given new domain, encyclopedia website flattened to static HTML and given a new domain, sites were archived to Stanford Web Archives,  etc. Developed 150+ specific and blanket redirects based on analytics data and server inventory.
